Growth Modifier

Growth modifier settings

  • How many sites for growth modifier attachment?: this value is the number of different sites where you want the growth modifier to attach. After inserting a value click "Generate fields" in order to define these sites.
  • How frequently should a growth modifier attach?: this is an integer value. If the value is 1 then every time the Monte Carlo code picks a site for attachment of a growth modifier then the growth modifier will be added.  A value of 10 will mean that a site for attachment will have to be picked 10 times before growth modifier is attached.  Therefore, a higher number means less growth modifier.
  • How long should a growth modifier remain?: this is an integer value. If the value is 1 then  every time the Monte Carlo code picks a growth modifier site it will be removed. A value of 10 will mean that a growth modifier will have to be picked 10 times before it detaches. Therefore, a higher number means more growth modifier.

Growth modifier sites

  • Number for growth modifier site n: this is the site number to which the modifier should be attached. To find the relevant site/sites interrogate the file name_count.txt which is generated in a simulation without growth modifier.  All the site numbers will be listed along with their coordination. Pick a site that says "empty site number n". Repeat for all generated fields of sites for growth modifier attachment.
