Excess Supersaturation

Iterations

  • How many periods of excess supersaturation?: this integer value is the number of different periods for supersaturation. After entering value click "generate fields" to generate subsequent question.
  • Iterations at end of period of excess supersaturation n: this question will appear for 2 or more periods of supersaturation.  The first period will start at the first iteration and the final period will end at the final iteration. If you ask for r periods of excess supersaturation you will need to enter r-1 of these questions.

Period n

  • Excess supersaturation in period n for (tile t_xxx/molecule x/group molecule): for every molecule, group of molecules or tile enter the desired excess supersaturation in kcal/mol. This number MUST be positive – unless you are working with a structural solvent such as in a MOF where returning a value of -1 will keep the solvent at an activity of about 1.  Repeat for all growth units for all periods.
